More robust polling functionality (a la Google forms)
planned
Josh Samani
I just had to create a good form and post a link to it in a post instead of using the native polling functionality because I wasn't able to generate the polling format I wanted. Also, the advantage of Google forms is that one can immediately see the responses in a spreadsheet. Perhaps Google forms integration is possible in some way?

More precise scheduling of polls
Robert Talbert
When you create a poll, it's not clear exactly when the poll will close -- the options are just in terms of the day, week, or month. It's consequently hard to give students a deadline by which they need to vote on a poll. We should have the option to schedule the closing time of a poll as a time on the clock -- e.g. not "1 day from now" but "11:59pm Friday October 22" or something like that. That way I can give a precise deadline to students and we're not wondering if "1 day from now" means noon, 5pm, 24 hours from the time I opened the poll, etc.
