Also very excited about this feature ... I'm transitioning from Piazza and so far am very impressed with Campuswire!
Also, what about adding TikTok to this embedding feature?

Hello 👋
This option is awesome! I was wondering if it is possible to include iframes for GeoGebra Applets also? That would amazing! 😃 Thanks! 🙏
Duong Nguyen
Juan Carlos Ponce Campuzano: Yup, we'll add it to our roadmap. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is great stuff, Duong. Really glad to see this functionality finally see the light of day, and especially thanks for whitelisting Desmos.
One suggestion: The announcement in "What's New?" (the gift-box icon in the lower left) has not been updated to reflect the change in syntax. I spent a few minutes wondering why pasting the iframe code wasn't working until I thought to come check this discussion board. An update to that announcement is probably in order. Thanks again!
Duong Nguyen
Robert Talbert: thanks for the suggestion Robert. I've updated the announcement in "What's New?" to reflect this change. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi everyone, we just deployed a quick change to the iFrame embedding system. Instead of copying and pasting the iFrame code into the editor, you can now embed it like you embed an image in markdown. So something like this will now work:
![youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn3KWM1kuAw)
![vimeo](https://vimeo.com/503084410)
![desmos](https://www.desmos.com/calculator/mhisypw6su)
Or you can also use our embed button in the toolbar to embed url (image below). Unfortunately, this means that your previous embeds of iFrame will no longer be functional. You would need to format it like the format above for the iFrame to show up. We made this change to make embedding more intuitive and to eliminate minor bugs that our previous solution introduced.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding this in the reply section.

Duong Nguyen: This looks really user-friendly and clean in Markdown, but I suppose it means it will only work for a set of whitelisted external sites.
Is there a favorite process for users to request a site to be added as embedable?
Duong Nguyen
Sebastian Wild: Thanks for the feedback Sebastian! You can suggest links that we should whitelist by creating a new post here on Canny.

Duong Nguyen: This is fantastic! Thanks! Is it possible to include GeoGebra iframes also? That would amazing! Cheers!

Duong Nguyen: Firstly, this is amazing! Thank you! Secondly, I just embedded a youtube video this way, and it worked perfectly, but then I tried to embed a Desmos graph, and it's not showing up. See screenshots. Should we expect to need some sort of special formatting for embedding certain kinds of content, or is there perhaps a bug in the code they've provided? Thanks!
Duong Nguyen
Josh Samani: We've only allowed YouTube and Vimeo domain so far for security reasons. But we'll add Desmos domain right now and you can use it later tonight. Thanks for letting us know.
Josh Samani
Duong Nguyen: Seems like Desmos is still not working fyi.
Duong Nguyen
Josh Samani: It should work now. Please refresh your app.
Josh Samani
Duong Nguyen: Yes works! Amazing thanks.

Any updates on this? Would be extremely useful to my (now online) course this spring!
Duong Nguyen
Hi Steve Trettel, we have been very busy building Pro features that will further help instructors facilitate online learning so I can't guarantee a specific timeline for this. However, I will make sure to bump this up on our roadmap so that we can ship this sooner for you :)
Robert Talbert
Duong Nguyen: Please do, this is a really important feature especially now that video use is so prominent. And please don't require a Pro account for this!
Robert Talbert
Upvoted this but also verbally giving my "Second" to this suggestion.
