Replying to anon'd follow-up post reveals real name?

The attached image is my reply to someone in a follow up comment. In the attached image, brown is the person's real name. Black is another instructor that brown was @'ing. When I initially replied, red was "pink-cat-4," causing me to believe that the person anon'd herself in that comment. When I asked a current student whether or not he could see this person's real name in my posted reply (brown box), he said yes.
The red box is now her real name, so I think that she un-anon'd that post once my reply revealed her name, if that functionality even exists. Not really sure what happened there.
